The inspiration to start my bakery stuck me when i was in London, working part time in a Large Coffee chain, the mindset I had all throughout my life about bakeries changed and I was amazed and the idea of something similar stuck my mind and I decided to not settle for anything less if I venture in this field back in India. The innumerable breads, the variety of cookies, the simplicity, the taste, the quality of ingredients. I was also stuck in awe with the mindset of people who knew that while there were cheaper, more cost effective options available, the long term hazards of consuming those foods was significant and many would choose the healthier and higher quality products.
When I came back to India, I tried looking for these breads and similar cookies all over, and to no avail. I was hooked on the experience and wanted more of it. The use of bakery shortening and Dalda in the name of ghee was just a big turn off and not an experience to remember.
With so much disappointment and passion for baking which was newly developed, I started to research about the bakery business in India. While the market was huge, everyone was just hooked on making things cheaper and faster, quality was not the agenda, for both sides. Soon I was ready to take on the whole new chapter and Creme Caramel came into existence.
Our motto is to make the best quality products with utmost care and love and everything is specifically selected. All the production is in small batches and hand made so there is always some difference in every batch. We never use any preservatives or artificial food colourings or flavour enhancers. Everything is in its pure form and will always be so!
